The project involved learning about double pipe heat exchanger design calculations.
Calculate design parameters of heat exchanger like overall HTC, heat duty, size of heat exchanger etc. for any input.
SECOND YEAR PROJECT (Internship):
Project Title: Measuring the Dryness Fraction of steam by using Vortex Meter.
Project Duration: One Year (June-2018/ May-19)
Industry Name: Forbes Marshall Pune.
Objective:
i. Development of a relation between shedding frequency of the vortex flow meter with Steam quality experimentally.
ii. Correlating the dryness fraction of steam with Gaussian pick width. iii. Development and assembly of project test rig setup. iv. Testing and analysis of results.
Description of project: In the present study, a vortex flow meter, an instrument used to measure steam flow rate, has been extended to measure steam quality. B.E. PROJECT WORK:
Title: Reduction of NOx gases of single cylinder I.C. Engine by the diesel water emulsion.
Description of project: Diesel is used as convention fuel for I.C. Engine which produced the tremendous pollutant. Different tests are carried out with WPO, JME, and JME-WPO (15) as an alternative for Diesel. NOx emission reduced with addition of WPO in JME. This may due to water content present in the WPO which reduced the combustion temperature. EDUCATIONAL SYNOPSIS:
