Work Responsibilities:

Firefighting pipe installation of all sizes, water mist pipe installation, construction of water mist tank for tunnels also in viaduct.

Conducting hydrotest for firefighting pipes of all sizes and also water mist pipes in tunnels.

Familiarise with all valves, flanges, connections in firefighting system.

Familiarise with Fire Cabinet connections on viaduct also in tunnels.

Familiarize with Company rules, procedures, Standards and project specs.

Carryout planned Inspection, and various Quality test record as a proof of inspection and witnessing entire inspection.

Review of Purchase Requisitions for Project Materials and Services.

Preparing Punch list for Vendor inspection.

Minimize the welders repair percentage as per the project specification.

Monitoring daily Instrument installation, Calibration, testing activities and verifying that it complies with the project specification.

Responsible to verify the installation of the instruments by performing inspections as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and record the findings on the Quality Record (QR).

Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.

Fire Fighting system (Co2 system for switchgear room, Inergen system for control room, Cooling water

& foam system for fuel oil tanks, Hydrant System for whole CPP, HVS & MVS for Transformers) and fire protection system.

Prepare Look Ahead Schedules for fabrication / erection and pressure testing of Fire Fighting System, UG Piping and co-ordinate with client for the approval.

Involved in testing of vibration sensors and vibration monitoring system with the vendor after the final alignment of the pumps and motors.

Design & Updating of P&I Diagram for Process Control.

Independent management of files and records logging instrument installation and calibration dates.

Evaluate received quotations and advice approval for selected supplier Follow up on the requested material, up to delivery.
