My name is Israel Rodriguez, and I am 25 years old. I was born in Tijuana, Mexico, on September 9, 1995. Spanish is my first language, but I also speak English and basic greetings in Hindi. I am learning Mexican Sign Language and during June 2021 I will be attending to a First Responder Course, in which it will help me to achieve my dream to serve as a Firefighter. I grew up in a Jehovah’s Witnesses family where I have learned to always be honest, work hard and love each other.

I have a Work Permit a valid Driver License and I am in the process to get my Permanent Residence.

HOBBIES

Play the trumpet.

Serve as a volunteer in the Spanish community of Surrey.

I have 2 pets which I love to take care of them.

Southwest High School

2010 - 2013

I attended to Southwest High School in San Diego, California, USA, in which I graduated and received a diploma. During this period, I learned English and to play the trumpet in a Mariachi group, as a class we played in front of many parents and teachers, something that made me get used to have a participative and communicative skills.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Arquitectura y Construccion Construction

2013–2014

I worked during one year in a construction company in Mexico after I graduated from High School.

Pacific Properties Services Landscaping

2014–2017

After working in Construction, I found an opportunity to work in a landscaping company in San Diego, California, USA for almost 4 years. I learned basic but important skills. One of them is to work hard and fast even when there is pressure. I got used to lift heavy items and learned to use different machines required for landscaping.

Vitrex Company Maintenance

2021–Present

For Vitrex Company I am working doing maintenance to mostly all the Starbucks stores around the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
