Responsibilities

As part of client MC E/I Inspector, we conduct inspection of all Instrument installation/punch listing and monitoring of clearing of punch list to satisfied the client standard before handover to commissioning group.

Ensure the successful inspection and completion of the Hazardous Area (EX/EEHA) Instrument equipment from stages selection, preservation, installation and inspection in accordance to IEC-60079-14. Up to plant startup stages to ensure flawless startup.

Preparation of Quality related documents as per Client requirement such as ITP with check sheets and related work instructions and liaison with the client for the approvals.

Liaise with the Client representatives for the conduct of day-to-day quality related project activities.

Maintain and safe keep all records / documents, and operational data for review and further analysis.

Quality problems issuance of surveillance report standards Corrective action reports, Over short damage reports, and Non conformation reports.

Taking preventive and corrective actions for the non-conformities observed in site.

Assist QA/QC Manager and QA Engineer in conducting internal quality audits.

To read and understand Layout drawings, Wiring details, Schematic drawings, Single line diagram, lighting and power distribution drawings, Instrumentation layouts, P&ID, Hook up drawing, ILD, projects specification, test result and reports submitted to contractor and clients.

Conducted inspections in according to Project Quality site Assurance Manual and Quality Control Inspection Plan.

Review plans and drawings in accordance with specifications, codes and standards.

Material receiving Inspection as per Approved Material Submittal, Drawings, Specifications, Certificates and FAT documents.

Witness inspection of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Low Voltage power, control and earthing cables, Low Voltage Distribution Boards and Panels, Low Voltage and High Voltage Switchboards.

Inspection for Installation of field instruments i.e. pressure, flow and temperature transmitters, valves, pressure switches, fire and gas instruments etc.

Prepare calibration reports to all instrument i.e. pressure control valves, pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, temperature transmitter, pressure switches etc.

Impulse line and air supply tubing leak testing.
