VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP
I started the Fish Market’s community outreach program in 1983. We had a booth at a local school charity benefit. This developed to include most all schools and non-profits in our area. I also established a teaching/training program at these schools during their ocean week curriculum. After the education segment; we always finished with doing fish prints on the kid’s t-shirts.
I was also a volunteer for the Elks Lodge of Palo Alto. I was a financial auditor for 8 years, helped provide food and services for many of their other charitable events. I was also voted Elk of the month.
