Roles And responsibilities

Develop organization's awareness and Implementation of Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management system (OHSEMS) and Safety as an integral part of the objectives.

Regular site visiting and reporting to the HSE/Site managers.

Reporting about various hazardous in site and initiating necessary action.

Routine site safety inspection and Reporting for improvement.

Conducting of site safety audit with consultant/client.

Hazard identification, Risk assessment (HIRA), and ensuring implementation of control measure.

Ensure that all specific (OHSEMS) risks are identified, assess appropriate risk plans are implemented.

Update all training records such as chemical handling, basic firefighting, first aid training, OHSEMS awareness etc.

Analysis of MSDS and Preparation of COSHH Assessments.

Creation of HSE alertness and awareness amongst the site workforce through safety posters, slogans, and safety alert bulletins display at prominent places.

Enforcing, issuing and checking of work permits.

Monthly Inspection Mobile Cranes, Duct & Pipe lifter, Lifting tools and tackles, Air compressor and other construction equipment. After inspection ensure color code system.

Weekly Inspection of Scaffolding, health & Hygiene, and Material storage. Bi-weekly ladder inspection.

Carry out inspections for compliance with the OHSEMS Regulations while Excavation, Confined Space, Working at Height, Erection.

Conducted weekly and monthly HSE meetings with subcontractors, staff members, Managers and visitors.

Conducting HSE Induction awareness for employees and visitor.

Advice and guideline to work force and site supervision on HSE.

Help to develop job safety Analysis and Task Assessment.

Assist in Emergency response and provide first Aid Treatment.

Investigate Accidents, Nearmiss, identify the root causes, and suggest corrective action has been taken and documented

Preparing inspection reports and finding root cause and recommend corrective measures to decrease their frequency and to prevent reoccurrence.
