Objective
Hardworking mechanical engineering graduate seeking the opportunity to apply my knowledge and abilities to gain valuable hands on experience, build a diverse professional skill set, and obtain long-term employment.
Education
The University of Texas at Dallas
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering May 2018
Accomplishments
●1st place in Senior Design Challenge
Designed a housing unit for company supplied Stirling Engine to be inserted within a cooler
Produced a multi-chambered and compartmentalized cooler with a hot and cold section
●2nd Place in Machine Shop Fabrication- by building a crankshaft and piston prototype
●2nd Place in AirFoil Design Competition- by creating a airfoil with the greatest lift and least drag force
Engineering Projects
●Senior Design Project
o Used heat transfer and material science to determine and design a cooler that has a hot compartment and cold compartment
oPrototyped and tested comsol simulations, creo design, and heat transfer applications
oCollaborated with engineering team and corporate sponsor to develop and design application
oCreated budgets and Gantt charts, tracking projected cost to actual cost
●Designed a CAD design in Creo parametric 4.0, assembled an engine block, pistons, and an engine fan unit for 3D printing
●Designed a mechanical car that only used torsion (spring) force to propel the car a minimum of 30 ft
Technical Skill
*Simulink coding, Creo Parametric 2.0 & 4.0, Solidworks, COMSOL multi-physics simulation, Hand tools, Machine shop work, Microsoft Office Suite, Basic C++ & C programming, MathWorks MATLAB
