Keep reception desk/area in order and neat e.g. no empty mugs/glasses/other to be left on reception desk, no staff other than receptionist to be “hanging around” at the front desk;

Responsibility for the effective running of the Somerset West Village office;

Control, record keeping and managing of the Facility credit card;

Manage the office budget and compile the budget for the next financial year;

Invoices:

Receive all the invoices of the relevant departments and ensure that they are signed by the Village Manager before Wednesday 11h00;

Each invoice must be allocated on a spreadsheet and this spreadsheet must be consolidated and sent to the Village Manager on a weekly basis

Work Place Forum:

Ensure the minutes are typed by the Chairperson secretary, approved by you and circulated to all members;

Forum representatives’ travel and attendance incentive;

Ensure that each Workplace Forum representative’s file is updated;

Ensure representation of all shifts and departments on the Forum in consultation with the Secretary;

Work closely with HR during induction to explain functioning of the Workplace Forum and buddy system of Workplace Forum representatives for new employees.
