As competitive individual in the construction industry, I studied Diploma & Degree in Construction management at the Technical university of Kenya & took some short term courses in CAD applications, Ms project & customer service and transcription. With some experience at The East African University Library project as a clerk of works gave me more exposure in the industry in regards to project drawings production on ground, onsite supervision with quality checks, requisition of materials and follow-ups with suppliers, ensuring safety onsite and reporting to the project manager work progress and any concerns which might affect the project negatively in terms of project time and cost hence teamwork lead to a successful project coordination and completion of various elements in time.

It was my duty to monitor the attendance of the construction crew members on daily basis and ensuring the resources are adequate enough guaranteeing site safety precautions and quality standards are met onsite. I produced simple programs of works & coordinated site matters while supervising for a smooth flow of work onsite, keeping a close eye to ‘hidden works’ which helped in finishing projects considering quality. On daily basis, I communicated progress of work and reported to the managing director through phone & daily site reports. Moreover, I liaised with onsite team members for timely supply, delivery of materials & labor as required attending to other official duties as per instructed by the managing director where it enhanced teamwork and good flow of work.
