Projects

SAE BAJA 2019

1) Represented the college at SAE BAJA.

2) Designed a complete CVT transmission for an ATV as a team. 3) Did major works in the assembly and testing of vehicle. 4) Complete work from Modelling to Fabrication was carried out.

PATH PLANNING OF AUTONOMOUS ROBOT

1) Path planning of Robot using Genetic Algorithm was done in order to find the shortest travel path. 2) Virtually training the robot using Artificial Neural Network was also carried out.

DESIGN AND ANALYSIS ON MODEL OF BRAIN (IIIT-B)

1) Used 3D slicer to extract the shape of the brain and skull for a CT scan report in STL format. 2) Used Designing software's like Meshmixer, Fusion 360 and Solidworks to produce a cleaner model of the skull and brain.

3) 3D printing of the brain was done.

DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF SURGICAL ROBOT (IIIT-B)

1) Designed a polar co-ordinate machine which can perform neurosurgical operations. 2) Designing of a compact 2 axis tool movement system was also developed for the machine. 3) Solidworks was used for the designing of the whole machine. 4) Ansys was used to perform the simulation and also to analyze the mechanical parameters such as Stress, Strain, Tensile strength etc.

DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF PAPER CUP MAKING MACHINE (PESIT-BSC) 1. This machine was designed as a final year project in Mechanical Engineering. 2. It uses an innovative die for the making of paper cup which was designed from scratch. 3. The working of the machine is same as any other machine but the way the paper cups are formed is different and innovative.

4. Analysis of all the components was done on ANSYS to determine the structural rigidity of each component.

MECHANICAL ANALYSIS INTERN (ELEATION)

1. Different types of analysis was learned during the internship. 2. Performed CFD analysis on blades of a turbine and determined the angle at which maximum efficiency is achieved.
