For 10+ years, have been working as a SAP BI Solution Architect/Designer/Tech. == 06/2019 ~ Present Business Objects SME General Dynamic IT – US Navy NCIS. Quantico, VA

Responsible for the everyday administration of Navy NCIS’s SIPR, NIPR Business Objects systems, which was included following:

BOBIP Platform Administration: Administered security settings, server configuration & maintenance and trouble shooting. Assisted business users in the use of reporting toolset

BODS administration: Created BODS Local Repositories, linking to CMS and attaching Job Servers; code promotion, content migration and other management routines; monitored and troubleshot BODS Batch Jobs.

Created new BODS ETL Mappings for new requested objects and tables, such as, analyzing data; providing architecture blue print; creating Batch Jobs, Datastores, Work Flows and Data Flows; defining Transforms; setting up source and target schemas.

Modified query metadata BO Universes for new inquired fields and tables with IDT, UDT, such as, improving universe parameters; populating universe Data Foundations; updating contexts and set up new alias; reorganizing data item into multi-dimension view; created Aggregated Awareness based on summarized tables; setting up object properties; designing Water-Fall Prompts; creating Derived Tables and customized hierarchies for drilling to facilitating queries by BO utilities, such as List of values and @Functions etc.

Built data feeds by creating universes according to the above gradually decided subject areas and the best hierarchies.

Created various queries to aggregate data onto the levels of the above models’ presentation patterns.

Created Momentum Funding Distribution Reporting Module for DoD OUSD.

Initiated the OUSD Fund Authorization Document (FAD) universe and report design and incrementally improved it (3 releases).

Created Oracle views (or BO Derived tables) based on Momentum processing (such as, MF and AA tables, MF_SBE, MF_SBE_DOC_LN, MF_AJ, MF_TJ, MF_RP, MF_BE_FORM, MF_BE_FRM_LN and MF_RP_LN etc.) to shape data into the aggregated information.

Designed and enhanced the DD 1414 series and the DD 1416 series (Congress Reporting Code#) universe and reports with the BO Guidance Navigations technology (with 20 Drill-To child reports).

Built and enhanced Status of Funds universe and report for the OUSD (with about 25 Drill-To child reports).

Created other reports, from Oracle views to Web Intelligence files, Such as, Outstanding Document Report, Master User Report, Security Setting by Organization, Fund Flows and Withhold Status, etc.

As a universe designer, provided incremental enhancement design to two IR2 universes, HAMP Datamart.UNV (for Department of Treasury) and IR2 Reporting – TTS Copy.UNV (TXDB universe).

Designed ten BOXI WebI reports, which had been heavily involved in the FANNIE MAE and HAMP analytical patterns(the value analysis between present values and future values).

Provided development support services to the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Migrated the BOE v6.5 contents to XI R3 and converted the Full-client reports to WebI reports as well as re-built reports that could not be migrated by the Import Wizard.

Created Business Object XI R3 security model (ACL) for the migration target system and connected external LDAP services for security implementation in BOE XI R3.

Migrated and unit tested 40 universes and re-built 5 universes (to re-generate the Legacy BO Free-hand SQL reports) to XI R3 environment; Migrated and converted 380 WebI reports and implanted them.
