Practice Focus:
Dimitrios has spent his career both on the “legal side” as a General Counsel at several life science companies, and on the “business side” as a CEO of a public company listed on NASDAQ, thereby allowing him the breadth of experience to better understand the value of sound legal advice and the interplay to good business judgment.
The majority of Dimitrios’ time has been in the life sciences advising on a broad spectrum of matters. This includes drafting a broad range of contracts, negotiations, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, global patent strategy, litigation strategy, compliance, employment law, initial public offerings, private placements, and real estate. Dimitrios has also overseen the Human Resources function and conducted several confidential HR investigations, and has run complex international licensing arrangements. Dimitrios has advised clients at every stage of their development including the start-up stage, raising private and public capital, doing fundraising roadshows, the IPO, managing investor relations, preparing for a company sale, as well as merging two public companies. Dimitrios currently sits on three public company boards and advises clients in ways that highlight the culmination of his broad legal experiences and his unique executive officer posts.
