Completed MSc dissertation on, “Geology and petrological aspects of parts of Saleli and Zormen Village, Sattari- Goa” under the guidance of Dr. A. A. A. A. Viegas, Assistant Professor, Department of Earth Science, Goa University, Goa.

FIELD EXPERIENCE

B.Sc. 2nd year (December 2013): Geological field work at Malwan, Maharashtra and St. Mary’s island Udupi, Karanataka.

M.Sc. 1st year (December 2015): Geological Field work at Bagalkote and adjoining areas in Karnataka, to study the field occurrence of sedimentary rocks and their related structural elements in Cuddapah basin.

M.Sc. 2nd year (December 2016): Geological Field work in and around Vadodara district of Gujarat; Visit to ONGC Cambay Basin Office, Gandhar Oil Field and Rajpardi Lignite Mine.

INTERNSHIP

Duration: 1 Month (May 2016)

Description: Industrial training was a great opportunity to put what I have learned at university to work. Internship in the mining industry provided me with essential map reading skills, Geological mapping of the open cast mine and estimation of ore. Also learned how to find and map ore deposits in a virgin area. Visited iron ore beneficiation plant and observed the working of all machines and studied all the processes of iron ore beneficiation.

RELEVANT COURSE

Completed the course on ‘Basics of Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System & Global Navigation Satellite System’, conducted by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing as Off-Campus Outreach Certificate Program during August 2016 to November 2016.

SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS

Attended 3 days (15-16-17 April 2019) training programme on Children’s Parliament conducted by PRATYEK, organized by Konkan Development Society, at Don Bosco Provincial House, Odxel, Goa.

Attended the seminar on “Emerging Areas in the Earth Science Research” on 21ST March 2014 organized by the Department of Earth Science, Goa University.

Participated in the workshop on “X-Ray Diffraction and Its Application” in Protolith ‘15 conducted by ERSA and Department of Earth Science, IIT Bombay on 9th, 10th & 11th October 2015.

Participated in the workshop on “Geoscience and Mineral Resources” held at Goa University on 17th March 2017, supported by University Grants Commission, New Delhi under the SAP-DRS (III) Program.
