PROJECTS AND TRAININGS
1. Data Compression & Decompression using FPGA (Final year project) Proposed and implemented a real-time data compressor system activated by two algorithms
(LZW and Huffman) in an FPGA software that can help people who are experiencing data storage challenges, as this system will efficiently save space for their devices at a cheaper cost. 2. Touch screen-based wheelchair
Developed a system that will transform the traditional wheelchair into a user-friendly touchscreen-based wheelchair using a resistive touch pad which transmits data to 8051 microcontroller connected to a robot who helps the wheelchair to move in different direction, an innovation that will greatly help Persons with Disabilities. 3. GSM based door lock system
Designed a door lock system model using GSM module which sends a one-time password
(OTP) to owner’s registered mobile number to grant access on the door. This can replace the conventional door lock mechanisms that can be easily bypassed by intruders. 4. Image compression
Implemented the Baseline JPEG standard using MATLAB and worked on both the encoding and decoding of images in JPEG. The project also shows the effect of coefficients on the image restored.
5. Security System using Photodiode
Photodiode based alarm can be used to give a warning when someone passes through a protected area. The circuit is kept standby through a laser beam or IR beam focused on to the Photodiode. When the beam path breaks, the alarm will be triggered. 6. In-plant Training at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Rajahmundry A 4-week in-plant training at BSNL office with both theoretical and practical exposure on switching technologies, mobile and broadband technologies, and the evolution of wireless communication and optical fiber communication.
