Experience

2015 to Present Upper Albany Main Street

Albany Ave and Homestead Ave Facade Improvement Project Consultant. Coordinate the on going improvements to the commercial properties within this Main street Corridor. Organize $6.25 million funding from the CT-DECD. Create RFPs and RFQs for Architects Engineers and General Contractors. Monitor projects thru completion. Work closely with the City of Hartford/ DOT RT 44 Project 063-0633 $22 million project. www.upperalbany.com

2008-2013 MDC Hartford. Principal Engineer. Design and manage water and waste water project within the districts domain. Main St, Hartford, Farmington Ave, Mountain Farms. Design repairs for the 39" Siphon under the park river (Woodland Street).

PROJECT ENGINEER - Camp Victory Lake,New York. Waste Water Treatment Facilities.

Project Design By-Spectra Environmental Group, Inc. (Formerly Hayward and Pakan Associates of Poughkeepsie.)

50,000 GPD waste treatment facility utilizing a network of gravity flow collection system discharging into a central lift pump station to force main transfer to a 500,000 storage facility. Waste is processed using RBC (Rotating Biological Contactors), sedimentation bed, Ultra Violet Filters. SPEDES permit allow for discharge to on site stream.

Responsible for Sourcing Waste Treatment plant components and ensuring conformance to design. Reviewing submittals form US Filters Corp. and submitting to SPECTRA for approval. Managing and coordinating the project vendors, contractors. Obtaining independent test labs and inspectors for the various phases of the project. Ensuring protection of wetlands and listed endangered species on site during the project. Reporting to the project owners on project progress. Ensuring insurance and workman compensation compliance.

Design and build septic systems for residential projects in CT. Implementing leaching fields, infiltrators, underground septic tanks. Installing erosion control measures and assuring adequate separation of sewer and other water bodies and sources.

Supervising the installation of sewer laterals and domestic/ fire water lines for residential and commercial projects in the Metropolitan District.

Coordinating site and concrete contractors for the installation of the Hartford Public High School, Temporary classrooms facilities.

PROJECT ENGINEER Responsibilities included liaison with Konica Corporation Japan on Facsimile products, digital color printers/copiers, testing of new internet communication products, as well as customer support. Travel to Japan to preform Prue launch evaluation of products.
