A Passionate, responsible and driven 22-year-old fresh Bachelors of Honours graduate with an obtained First-Class Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I am a forward-thinking and inquisitive individual who has a strong interest in the field of Construction Project Management and Risk Management. Final year dissertation involved multi-criteria programming using the Analytical Hierarchy Process to determine what nuclear waste storage technologies pose as the safest, economical and most environmentally sustainable to minimise the burden on future generations

Participated in the ‘’Engineers without borders’’ challenge with a group of 5 to design a portable water pump system to tackle the water crisis in Tamil Nadu, India. I was given the position as project manager and oversaw that all deliverables are completed within a given timeframe by ensuring all members understand their duties and the level of contribution expected.

Tasked with the assignment of producing a full construction project manual for a theoretical relocation of the Kingsgate Bridge from Durham to Glasgow. I was put in charge of Health & Safety (H&S) and needed to study and state all necessary H&S measures to be undertaken to mitigate or eliminate negative impacts on humans, wildlife and the environment around the proposed construction site regarding a variety of regulations and legislations.

Throughout my third academic year, I was mentored by engineers from WYG, an award-winning professional engineering services company where I got the opportunity of observing the companies working environment as well as looking into how project control was implemented for the variety of projects carried out by the Geo-Environmental engineering team in terms of time, resources and budget.

Conducted research and wrote a report in which highlights the phenomenon of optimism bias within civil engineering projects. I gained increasing familiarity into the importance of Risk Analysis and Management for projects (RAMP) in terms of budgeting and time.

As part of my Project analysis class, I have achieved a deeper understanding of contractor and construction law. I wrote multiple reports which cover the fundamentals of law and management for the industry. • Hiking expeditions: Completed both Bronze and Silver awards for The Duke of Edinburgh camping expeditions in Oman and Cyprus as well as occasionally going on hiking trips to the Scottish Highlands

• Chess: Obtained great strategic thinking and problem-solving skills by being a member of a local chess club for 3 years. Currently following and keeping up to date with global chess standings and competitions
