ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Leader of Mechanical Engineering Capstone Project Aug. 2017- May 2018
Design and manufacture 3D printed exoskeleton for the hand, to improve and rehabilitate a damaged hand caused through illness, accidents, or strokes.
Propose a more reliable and cost-effective product that would be able to assist the fingers motor function during physical therapy. This product is a robotic application that is to be implemented into the medical device field. Improved physical rehabilitation process by an additional 45%.
Sponsored by Penn State Hershey Medical Center. In collaboration with Orthopedic Surgeon and Neurology Department for guidance with designing exoskeleton hand.
