Design and fabrication of mini universal CNC machine

I spearheaded a four-member team. We developed a fully functional 3 axes universal CNC machine.

The whole exercise was aimed at the designing and fabricating of a cheap machine to cut down the overwhelming costs of simple and small-scale machining operations such as milling, drilling, plotting and thereby increasing the flexibility of the machine.

Another important objective was to make it portable and lighter in weight.

We made use of open source hardware and software to develop the machine. The constant innovation and team work allowed us to achieve the required output. Reconditioning and overhauling of the existing Pneumatic Kit

The primary objective of this project is to build a pneumatic kit where tubes and piping connections have been replaced with the new ones.

Directional control valve which were not in good condition have been reconditioned. Filter, Regulator, and lubricator unit has been replaced with the new one.

Additional operating like foot operator has been installed. Pneumatic Grinder has been added to the set up.
