Oversee the engineering department.
Delegate work assignments to engineering personal.
Conduct yearly reviews with engineering personal to show strong point and weak point and give guidance for improvement.
Make sure engineering personal are aware of and are following procedures.
Responsible for updating engineering procedures as necessary.
Make sure projects are done on a timely manner.
Make sure the projects are following the proper ASME guidelines and customer requirements and specifications.
Attend daily production meeting to inform upper management on the engineering progress and difficulties.
Help in other departments such as material control, estimating, pricing and QC/QA.

Request needed information and clarification from our client.
When clarification is needed, make sure that RFIs (Request Information Forms) are sent to the client and maintain RFI log.
Review and interpret ISO Drawings sent by the client and prepare them for detailing.

oJob Procedure Sheet: Which contains information that that is need for the shop to build spool and do NDE.
oPainting Procedure Sheet: This contains the requirements for the paint shop to follow.
oOther outside service detail sheets.
Assess revised ISOs to determine if the shop drawings need to be revised or not.
Issue pick up and hold sheets to the shop when spool drawings are in the shop and a revised isos are issued.
Detail, check, revise spool drawings if needed and send them back to the customer.
Attend project meetings to inform the customer about the progress of its project.
Create requisitions for bends, special services if needed.
Issue drawings for customer approval if needed.
Assist shop personnel with technical issues about the spool drawings.
