Hello my name is Brian Tharp. In applying for this position I will be utilizing knowledge I acquired through my past positions held including production manager, store manager, trainer, dry-clean technician, lead machine operator, metal fabricator, quality control inspector, carpenter, assembly line team lead and forklift operator. Through the positions listed I have acquired an in-depth and diverse knowledge that I hope to fully utilize in this new position. My extensive experience in my past positions will enable me to bring a full and wide range of skills to the position advertised.
My background in construction, machine operating, and metal fabrication, have allowed me to make valuable contributions to a wide range of projects / tasks / positions. My previous work on both a large and small scale has given me a considerable insight into the challenges and needs of a variety of projects, allowing me to offer solutions to problems that may arise in this position. In addition, having been a Production / Store Manager and also a Team Leader/Trainer, I have learned and honed valuable collaboration and team management skills that have allowed me to both manage and work constructively and innovatively in group-based environments.
My objectives in applying for this position are to further develop and broaden my range of skills as well as learn all new skills. Through the development of these skills I hope to help increase profits and do my part to help the company continue to expand and grow.
