Project Experience

1. CLAIM

Client: AETNA Managed Care Services

Duration: Oct 2013 to May 2017 date.

Aetna Managed Care Services is a sub-system of AETNA Claims domain which handles all the L3 Support of the applications. The Incident Management is a part of the managed services. All the baseline division of AETNA has been integrated into a single unit called Managed Services which give prompt and effective resolution to the issues emerging in the individual applications of AETNA.

Responsibilities:

•Production support, incident management (IM) and daily/weekly/monthly requests and update activity.

•The project is related to claims domain. It basically involves the processing and workflow of a claim issued by a member. Also include AD-HOC related tasks and activities.

•XPED analysis of modules and IM’s.

•SR’s and PCR implementation.

2. Member

Client: Aetna

Duration: Oct 2010 to Sep 2013 date.

It involved the movement and transfer of the member data held in an existing cap office (provider number) to a new assigned cap office. New design and codes were implemented and modification to the existing member enrolment procedures were involved.

This application is a group of CSQ Customer Service Quality, TELSAM (Telephone

Service Attitude Measure) and EXCEL (Exceeding Customer Expectation Level). These are sampling systems. The main task of these applications is to collect the customer details who called the AT&T customer care in past 24 hours from different regions in United States and provide a pool of interviewees for marketing and quality control operations. This information is collected on daily basis and sent to third party Market Insight for analysis.

CI Support is one of the main modules of the project that does various activities such as development, maintenance, enhancements, and production support. We do fixes for reported program errors Enhancements (Application Modifications as per requirements), Conversion of programs for new versions of compiler and/or other software components, Investigation of problems reported by the Customer, answering queries raised by the Customer.

The part of the Enrollment System we are working is called Single Point Interface [SIP] which has a front end and back end process. Customers get enrolled into different plans / benefit packages through different means - web / agents / Humana-acquired companies [which previously were existing independently. For Eg: Badger] - as Groups / Members.
