PROJECTS
Design and Analysis of Polycaprolactone Based Cardiovascular Stent Designed a polycaprolactone based cardiovascular stent using hexagonal approach and performed FEM analysis for Stresses, deformation during maximum inflation of balloon and CFD analysis for determine the blood flow pattern, Change in velocity and pressure at the site of stenting. Also fabricated the stent using FDM based Flash forge Inventor Pro 3D Printer.
Disc Brake Rotor Thermal & Structural Analysis with Design Optimization using ANSYS Performed the Steady State Thermal and Static Structural Analysis of a Disc Brake Rotor (MAPDL Solver) to analyse deformation and thermal stresses, as brakes are applied with maximum force. Determined the deformation due to the thermal & structural, optimised the design for reduced thermal stress with 20% and reduced the mass of the disk by 40%.
CFD & Crash Analysis of Cars (Explicit Dynamics) in ANSYS Workbench Used Ansys Fluent (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for the Airflow analysis of a Racing Car to obtain it coefficient of lift and coefficient of Drag and streamlines of airflow against the body of car. Also tested the designed car for its Crash Analysis with another car moving with different speed using Explicit Dynamics for the analysis of failure and critical crash regions.
