SIGNIFICANT ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety Management -

• Promote Company HSE Policy and vision.

• Identify, prioritize risks, and develop action plans to improve HSE programs, processes, systems.

• Regular plant safety audits and inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

• Conduct employee and worker training/induction/ Orientation in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous conditions, behavior-based safety, and use of safety equipment.

• Training to 3000+ employee, and workmen to promote safe working practices at all levels.

• Provide safety awareness to improve safe work practices.

• Advise top management for individual & departmental KRA/ KPI aligned with ZERO injury.

• Formulate HSE plans and procedures for current and upcoming projects/ expansion of the existing facility to ensure systemic adherence to Work Permit Systems on Site / in the plant.

• Safety and Fire equipment’s procurement as per global safety standard and sustain inventory.

• Write and periodically review HSE documents, plans, Manual, and HSE strategies.

• Facilitated safety committee meetings with management, and the execution team.

• Investigate accidents/ incidents, Near Miss, and implement corrective & preventive actions.

• Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks.

• Safety audit and risk assessment and compliance of nonconformity.
