Preparing Testing & Commissioning procedure
Reading Method statement & working scope.
Before being site review the Shop Drawing and circuit feeding panel & energizing tree.
Make sure the PPE before go to site then HSE & Loto permit.
Pre-Commissioning DB, EDB, SMDB, ESMDB, MCC, EMCC, MDB, RMU, LV Switchgear, LCP, CBS, UPS, BUS Riser, PFC, ATS & Grounding & Lightening protection system.
After Pre-Commissioning if there is not matching site with Drawing I coordinate with team & senior Engineer after that inform contractor. If there is any equipment issue then coordinate with mechanical team.
After Pre-Commissioning done I proceed for Commissioning DB, EDB, SMDB, ESMDB, MCC, EMCC, MDB, RMU, LV Switchgear, LCP, CBS, UPS, BUS Riser, PFC, ATS & Grounding & Lightening protection.
For Small Power Cooled test Live test include with ( Torque, Insulation Resistance, Continuity, Voltage, Polarity, Loop Impedance, RCD test)
For MCC, EMCC, SMDB, & ESMDB test include with ( Functional, Primary Injection Short & Long term for MCCB Breaker, CT ratio, Control Circuit, Outgoing Cable Continuity & Insulation resistance, Torque test).
For MDB & EMDB test include with ( ACB & MCCB Breaker Short, Long, Instantaneous & Ground Fault, CT ratio, Functional, Control Circuit, Outgoing Cable Continuity & Insulation resistance, Torque test).
For Transformer test include with ( Voltage ratio, No-load, Winding resistance, Insulation resistance, Functional test).
For PFC test include with ( Capacitance, CT Ratio, Functional, Control Circuit, Insulation resistance)
For ATS test include with ( Function test, control circuit test, mechanical & electrical interlock test)
Grounding System Checking ( Earth resistance pits & pits connect with grid, Continuity test all grid connect together, Earth Cable connect with Earth Copper Bar for ELV, LV & MV ) .
Start-Ups for (AHU’s, Exhaust Fan, Jet Fan, FCU’s, Extract Exhaust Fan, Booster Pump, Sump Pump, Transfer Pump)
Fuel Oil System (FOS) Checking Standby Generator.
After finished work at site then make SOR & ATP then submit it to Contractor.

Generally responsible for implementation and monitoring of all electrical related at work at Industry
Preparation and assigning the resources such as man power, materials, consumables, and equipment's, tools, etc., required for all Electrical and related works prior to execution.
Daily inspection & close monitoring & activities on work, such as installation & termination of Electrical panels, cabling, ground, lighting protection system and DB Panel.
Installation of MV Switchgears, Transformers, & ABB MDB's DB's & Cable Routing.
Industrial Automation, Troubleshooting & Maintenance of Electrical panel board
Attending Internal Meetings with Manager & Department Heads, for Electrical technical, Progress & safety issues.
Ensuring that the various activities are implemented as per the specifications and there by maintaining the quality standards
Review and Approval of Electrical Materials, Drawings, weekly and monthly progress reports.
Supervising the specialist in installation, testing, commissioning of lightning control system, CCTV and Fire Alarm.
To ensure the testing activities are performed before the consultant inspection.
