Senior Design Project - ART Rover (Autonomous Rescue Trail Rover) 2020-2021 PYTHON, RASPBERRY PI

• The ART Rover seeks to improve emergency response times in the wilderness by autonomously patrolling a hiking trail. Certain features the rover will have include autonomous navigation, human detection, and GPS.

• Developed functional specifications on computer vision and motor handling by an integration of ultrasound and passive infrared sensors for object detection.

• Researched pytorch specifications to give the system a neural network.

• Wrote and executed the servomotor’s functionality upon an object detection for object avoidance.
