EXPERIENCE

Laborer Apprentice/chuck tender., Sacramento Drilling Inc., May 2018 - Current,

Sacramento, Ca

had the opportunity to do learn a lot of skills for Sacramento Drilling. was an apprentice,

would mix grout, clean up job sight. Mainly would church tend which mean add steel, cans,

or augers to the drill to go deeper into the ground. would also pull the steel off and add

bars to the hole, which is a way to add structure to the ground. As we build this bar going

down the hole we get ready for grout, the moment we are done adding would shove pvc

pipe all the down to the bottom of the hole and start grouting. would also help with setting

up on hole, getting level and lined up. Just recently last year in November of 2020 had the

opportunity to really learn how to drill on a rock drill about 100 holes or so at 6ft deep each

hole.

What working Sacramento drilling also did for me was give me a good work ethic, becoming

a faster thinking, and listen and learn more from the people around me. Sacramento Drilling

sent in a letter of recommendation to journey out to the local 185 laborors union. The letter

was accepted and! became a journeyman on November 4th, 2020.
