The aim was to provide full offshore support for UK / USA clients using SAP OSS.

SAP Basis support includes all BASIS activities ranging from installations/Upgrades and daily BASIS support round the clock 24 X 7. Logging into SAP servers at Waldrof is used to monitor all incoming requests (tickets).

Incoming requests are of two types as Incident management and change management. Incident management has three categories as severity 1/2/3. Severity one is pure Production system requests, which has severe business impact. Severity 2 and 3 are general requests from other systems including non-severe production requests.

Responsible for technical and operational understanding of assigned customer landscape, their hardware configuration, system role, system type, support hours, support groups, system category, customer contact person, system limitations, software versions, their compatibility etc.

Ensured smooth daily operations execution and meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the assigned landscape, if not within agreed threshold, check for missed requests-analyze-apply preventive action.
