Assistant Community Director

Volunteered to be the Assistant Community Director at the Park at Valenza which boasts 776 apartment homes in Temple Terrace FL, to help out with the high delinquency, and high turnover of employees and residents. On-board and train the leasing staff and any new employees. Process rent payment, send out notifications, lease violations and various additional paperwork. Build relationships with residents, customers and vendors. Ensure the apartments are walked by the leasing staff and prepared for the new move-ins. Generate reports for corporate HQ. File evictions as needed and attend court hearings. Create PO’s to Submit payables to the corporate office, Assist in budget preparation input daily expenditures in to the BCL. Hold daily staff meetings with the leasing and maintenance team discuss any concerns that they may have.

Community Director, 3/2020-

Community Director for a community with 184 apartments currently under rehab. Responsible for 4 staff members which included the maintenance team of 2. Meet with different vendors to get bids to complete the work that needed to be done on the apartments under rehab, schedule apartments to be painted, cleaned and punched. Submit payables to corporate twice monthly for payment and submitted rehab bills once a month to the Vice president for approval. Conduct apartments walks for move outs and assist the assistant with SODAS. Ordered all supplies that are needed for the completion of the rehab to include all appliances and flooring.
