ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Stevens Institute of Technology Hoboken, NJ
Senior Design Capstone Project 2020-21 Academic Year
Product development with local business in Hoboken, New Jersey.
Ping Pong Ball Table Assembly Spring 2020
Prototyped a ping pong ball launching machine using SolidWorks and Arduino through the Covid-19 pandemic
The assembly followed certain parameters and price constraints in order to be profitable in a real-world market
Speaker System Spring 2019
Modeled a Linkwitz-Riley filter in MATLAB and Simulink for a speaker system that followed specific parameters like gain and cutoff frequency
Created crossover network and an amplifier including a tweeter and sub-woofer on breadboards to create a functioning speaker system
Brass Truss Design Fall 2018
Designed and constructed a 2-D truss system out of a set amount of hollow brass tubing that met a specified factor of safety.
Predicted the maximum load of the truss system within 5% of the actual load.
Weather Station Spring 2018
●Designed and calibrated weather station using LabView and various sensors to accurately record wind speed, humidity, and temperature over a two-week period
●Optimized anemometer cup design in SolidWorks for best results and created waterproof housing to include sensors and Arduino assembly with PVC
Multi-Tool Model Fall 2017
●Developed exact replica of a multitool with several moving parts of different shapes, sizes, and textures including a nail file, screwdriver, and pliers
●Constrained model to allow individual parts to move independently while obeying the laws of nature
Autonomous, Light-Detecting Robot Fall 2017
●Constructed a robot that had to compete against other robots in the class to be the first to navigate through a course of obstacles and reach two target points represented by lights using various sensors
●Manufactured a bumper switch system for hit detection, so that when triggered by contact, the robot would move around obstacles
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Varsity Wrestling Captain Chaminade High School Mineola, NY Fall 2016
