I was a QC for line 2. I would check the packers boxes to make sure they were packing good fruit. I would also check the fruit they were throwing out to make sure they were not throwing away good fruit. I would check the brix, temperature and size of the fruit. I would input all my QC reports on the program Lot path on the ipad provided to me at work. I also made sure the packers were wearing the proper PPE required. Quality Control Inspector

I was a QC for shipping. I checked the quality of the fruit to ensure it was good to be shipped out. I checked for any defects like mechanicals, staining and mold. If there was a certain amount of defects present, I rejected the pallet and it would go directly to repack. For receiving, I check ed the temperature of the fruit and also the temperature of the truck to ensure the truck had the correct temperature while transferring the product to the facility. I took pictures and recorded all the information on the iPad, provided to me from work, and recorded everything on our Lot path program. I also checked the aged inventory to see which product is good to be shipped or which product had to be sent to repack for future orders. Packer
