NEURAL NETWORK ASSISTED ROBOTIC ARM – Senior Design I, II Summer-Fall 2020
Constructed an arm exoskeleton prototype capable of measuring electromyography signals and moves to pick up objects in a timely manner.
Managed a budget of $3,000 and contacted vendors for procurement to arrive on schedule.
Communicated effectively with a team of various engineering backgrounds.
Effectively utilized electromyograph sensors using circuit design and signal filtering to capture clear amplified signals and integrating data to Arduino Uno to be used with machine learning.
Analyzed risk and quality aspects of design using FMEA and ISO 13485 and developing Bill of Materials (BOM).
Skills Used: Project Management, Circuit Design, Budgeting, Scheduling, C++, MATLAB, FMEA, Product Development
PORTABLE ELECTROMYOGRAPH – Biomedical Circuits and Instrumentation Laboratory Fall 2019
Constructed a portable electromyograph device capable of measuring electrical activity in human muscle.
Utilized a cross-disciplinary set of skills and knowledge, including anatomy and electrical circuits, to build a series of filters and amplifiers to condition the raw electrical signal obtained from electrodes into a clean signal displaced on an oscilloscope.
Skills Used: Circuit Design, Signal Filtering, NI Multisim, Problem Solving, Innovation, Data Collection
