Xerox is an IT and BPO service provider to several industries in both public and private. Among Xerox’s repertoire of Health Services, they are contracted MMIS operator for the states in US. However Xerox developed a new age MMIS Product is called Health Enterprise which they aim to deploy in several of their current and future Contracted states. 5

Enterprise System consists of the specific functionalities of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) with integrations to COTS developed into a single “Enterprise System”. It is built on industry standards aligning with MITA (Medicaid Technology Information Architecture) guidelines, and adapting Service Oriented Architecture principles, to enable ACS client implementations to leverage the benefits of extensibility, manageability using services. The solution uses orchestration phenomenon to externalize the flow of process steps from the implementation of the business logic, which makes the Enterprise System readily customizable from state to state. The solution also employs an industry- strength rules engine, to enable business users to manage the rule values and to edit or add rules easily.
