●Required sales skills and strong interpersonal skills, as I talked to hundreds of people a day about a variety of topics ranging from personal matters to the transition into Medicare.

●Worked from home under an insured, licensed financial advisor, calling individuals seeking Medicare, and helping to start a small independant firm.

●Familiar working conditions, having worked in sales (albeit I was not personally selling anything, only setting up meetings for licensed agents).

●Requires talking to a large variety of people daily, being approachable and being comfortable discussing potentially personal topics (injuries, ailments, death, spousal issues, etc.)

●Left on a positive note to return to Wisconsin for a personal family matter, which made sourcing leads and marketing for qualified potential clients very difficult. I still help from time to time with marketing, albeit on a very part-time basis, as my colleague shifted towards selling group supplemental plans instead of individual retirement planning.
