• Migrate Data Warehouse from On-premises to cloud Azure SQL DB Role: Cloud Data Engineer
Description: This project contains different stages of loading data as follows: 1. On-Premises to Azure Pre-Stage and blob Storage. 2. Azure Pre-Stage to Azure Stage.
3. Azure Stage to Azure Data Warehouse.
Responsibilities:
• Migrated Data Warehouse using a smaller number of pipelines.
• Achieved all the above stage loads by using only single configuration table.
• Developed SSRS Health check report to track the data accuracy and duration of each stage load on daily basis.
• Implemented the Purge process to delete the data older than 2 years.
• Developed the Variance report to identify the data accuracy between Source and Destination.
• Implemented the Email service to send Success/Failure emails to the team by using Azure Logic Apps.
• Scheduling the Pipeline Trigger’s on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Created the Post Data Load Pipelines to send the Flat files, CSV files to the Customer Share folder after completion of daily End-To-End load process.
• Implemented the Generic / Backfill pipelines to load data for desired date range.
