Resume:
This was a group-based project aimed to design a process that produce 1000
tonnes per year of lithium carbonate. It includes process plant with all required main and ancillary equipment (sizing and specifications) able to achieve the duty, identify the best process route for certain duty, illustrate an economic appraisal, study environmental and sustainability impacts associated within the designed process plant, provide detailed mass and energy balance around each unit as well as draw a complete Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) using Visio and ASPEN plus software programs.
