EXPERIENCE

CubeSat Thermal Designer

University of Toronto Aerospace Team

Assigned to the radiation network and heat path design role for the FINCH CubeSat being created by University of Toronto's Aerospace Team.

Working closely with other departments to establish working space for the thermal needs of FINCH. Developing a heat path from payload sensor to radiators on the CubeSat through a meticulous approach to maintain design temperatures on the sensor within required tolerances. Design Engineer Intern for Gearsets in Transfer Cases Divgi-TTS

Assigned project to increase gear ratio, as requested by a client, in an existing transfer case sold by the company.

Created CAD models and drawings for planetary gearset designs to be used in the transfer case. Collaborated with engineers, transfer case designers and factory managers on the project and discussed tolerances possible.

Developed concept layout and design of planetary from specifications using 3D CAD software such as KISSSoft, KISSSys, and Inventor.

Developed and iteratively tested models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operating condition effects, possible new applications and necessity of modification. They were tested and assessed for size, strength, and ease of manufacturing. Communicated with gear design and engineering leads to meet design constraints. EDUCATION
