As Chief Operating Officer at a prestigious, internationally distributed high-end stereo manufacturer I generated the company’s highest gross sales and profitability in more than twenty years. I led the company’s recovery from the 2008 recession by implementing data driven systems to streamline logistics and operations. I created standard operating procedures, job descriptions, and KPIs to build a more structured organization. I cleared logjams in product development, established new quality assurance procedures with our factories overseas, expanded our international and domestic distribution networks, and vastly improved customer service. Over a five-year period, I more than doubled the company’s annual gross sales from less than $3 million to over $6 million. With my more effective supply chain management, I slashed inventory costs and drastically increased our profitability. After fifteen years, I turned reputable but underachieving brand into a powerhouse of the high-end audio industry.
