Served as Project Manager on CCSD’s Athletic facilities projects developing district design guidelines and standards for $110 million of upgrades to all exterior athletic sites, Project Manager on the New K-8 Sanders Clyde School and also serving as Construction Manager on 4 school renovations & conversions. CMA is a new District Charter High School that has partnered with Durham Regional Hospital and Duke University for training of Medical related entry level professions. I also served as Project Manager for the new Lakewood Montessori Middle School. LMMS is a remodel, expansion and conversion of an existing YMCA to a state of the art Charter Montessori Middle School. The building was designed to include both the new school as well as an addition for the YMCA as a joint use tenant of the school district. • Project Manager, Beaufort County School District $162 Million Education Facilities Renovations Program, Beaufort, SC. In a blended, staff augmentation approach, Heery provided capital project coordination services for Beaufort County School District’s (BCSD) $162.7 million Capital Improvement program. Served as Project Manager on 4 school renovations, 3 new school roof installations and 2 site improvement projects while also serving as Construction Manager on 6 additional school renovations. I was involved in architect & engineer selection, design review & approval, contract negotiation & management, and permit approvals as well as all daily operations of the project including QAQC, monitoring of site activities and progress, financials, scheduling of district contractors, end user relations, FF&E and OSF inspection requirements.
