Project Description – To avoid licensing fee, Oracle decided to migrate from HP Quality Center to Oracle’s product called Oracle Application Test Suite (Test Manager). Perhaps, Biggest challenge for this migration was to move 100,000 test folders, test cases and attachments artefacts to extract from HP QC and load them to Oracle Test Manager. Therefore, the Migration Program (Java utility) was developed by a team at Oracle to extract this information and load it into OTM capabilities to migrate historical data from legacy HPQC systems into OTM new applications.

Responsibilities

oPart of Agile team and responsible for Test case planning, development and functional test execution (manual) of Migration Program

oAttend requirement reviews, project status calls; work with release manager and PM. Attend scrums

oReport execution and defect status in defect tracking tools.

oMigration of HPQC projects into Oracle Test Manager Sandbox and Production OTM env.
