Implementing a New State-of-the Art Warehouse Management System: Selected a team of 6 associates who wrote an SOP manual for American Hotel Register that included conducting ongoing training initiatives and implementing a new Warehouse Management System, with RF capabilities in 8 different distribution centers within a 12-month with zero loss time and no interruptions to any customer orders.

Increasing Double-Digit Storage Capacity: Reconfigured all aspects of ECHO Inc. corporate distribution center, which proved instrumental in increasing storage capacity 35%, as well as providing much needed additional space for the company’s largest project, centralized pallatizing. All racking functions within the distribution center was either moved or replaced. Consequently, this entire project was completed 2 months early and $80,000 under budget and incorporated clip shelving, hand stack, selective rack, 2 deep, 4 deep push back, 6 deep flow rack and cantilever rack.

Achieving Rental and Labor Savings: Achieved annual rental and labor savings of $783,000 for S&S Truck Parts by revamping corporate distribution center and 4 regional distribution centers, thereby increasing storage 40%. Distribution centers revisions encompassed clip shelving, hand stack, selective rack, 2 deep, 4 deep flow rack and mezzanine for small parcel preparation. This allowed the closing of 3 offsite storage facilities, return 4 rented storage trailers and unnecessary transport equipment.
