ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

·Implemented prediction and recommendation system on Amazon Bigdata using AWS EC2 service based on item based collaborative filtering. Implemented sequential algorithms with K-Nearest Neighbor and Naive Bayes; and clustered data processing in Apache Spark. This will help amazon customers to save their time, and give appropriate and satisfactory suggestions to the customers which can be beneficial for the sellers and will generate more revenue for company.

·Applied feature selection, Principal Component Analysis, and Random Forest classifier on Wisconsin Breast Cancer data. This provides solution to detect breast cancer at an early rate for a higher survival rate with a 95.23% model accuracy

·Detected physical activities by reading and processing sensor data using machine learning. Implemented supervised classification learning models: K-Nearest Classifier, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM); and also built neural network using Keras. Improved accuracy of model from 93% to 96% by performing feature selection and hyper parameter tuning. Model is evaluated based on accuracy, confusion matrix and precision.

·COVID-19: Conducted time series analysis and visualization on change in variations in spike protein sequence of COVID-19

·IPL Sports: Developed multiple interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI on IPL cricket sports data to provide insight to franchises on selecting winning combinations of players based on the players' performance

·Developing an E- commerce website for artists: This website will help artists to sell their own art work online, for example, their paintings, sculptures, etc. This project enhances my skills related to structuring and designing a complex application.

·Designed and maintained research lab website for WSU Biological department. Also, worked on troubleshooting website problems, content modifications and presenting different solutions for the website.
