●Develop a model to assist future search and rescue efforts by predicting likelihood of survival of lost individuals for state department and law enforcement agencies
●Clean and correct discrepancies in data set of 76,000 records with 50 predictors of lost persons searches to enable data standardization
●Obtain hourly weather data including temperature, precipitation, and wind speeds over the course of each lost person’s event using NOAA API to improve accuracy of model predictions

●Analyzed dataset containing demographic information, credit history, payment history, and bill statements of 30,000 credit card clients in Taiwan to create model to predict likelihood of default payment
●Evaluated the uncertainty of predictions and the roles of model predictors using Bayesian logistic regression
●Estimated posterior probabilities using variational inference to understand the uncertainty of each prediction and the impact of each predictor on default payment
