• Developed and conveyed design concepts of the Sports Arena to the Directors to ensure they were within their requirements.

• Developed final design documentations, technical specifications, design layouts whilst providing interpretation to the various sub-contractors.

• Liaised with the marketing department to produce renders and artistic impressions for the Sports Arena in order to secure pre-opening publicity and marketing.

• Developed cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and productivity projected by the construction budget.

• Project Cost Estimator responsible for controlling costs incurred during construction and developing alternative methods to make it more cost effective.

• Procurement of required and appropriate material and plant supplies from competent suppliers at the best price to be used for the project and controlling their usage to work within the estimates.

• Ensured the safety of workers, works, materials, tools and equipment on site by ensuring the locking up of vulnerable items in a store, the presence of the security guard, carrying out stock taking to keep track of the items on site and procuring and providing safety gear to the workers.

• Assisting in the preparation of Bills of Quantities and Material schedules for the construction works.

• Tracking inventory of materials, tools and equipment kept on site and in the stores.

• Keep records of materials, tools and equipment purchased and those used daily for each of the works carried out and compare with the estimates made in the Bills of Quantities and material schedules and make appropriate changes for future estimates.

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly project technical progress reports indicating the goals achieved and challenges faced to enable management in subsequent decision making.
