Description: OneView is one of the largest Siebel Implementation in Europe and largest Siebel Program executed from offshore within BT CRM space. One View is designed to provide 360 view of the customer. This means all the details related to each customer are organized within Siebel. One View is on Siebel Version 8.1.1.15 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Siebel Server Administration and Repository Management As a part of the Server Administration and Repository Management Team:

Build new enterprises with load balancing servers.

Manage and monitor server tasks and components.

Proactively identifying issues and informing concerned stake holders for necessary action.

Server maintenance activities like health checks, archiving/clearing log files/crash dumps, etc.

Handling deployments on Production environment involving activities like SRF replacement, running GenB script, creating/modifying LOVs/Views/Responsibilities, repository backup importing sifs, etc.

Generating reports to identify the trends in CPU/Memory Utilization, number of users, Component Processing rates etc.

Installation of Gateway Server and Siebel Server on Solaris, Linux and Windows Platform.

Installation of Web Server and SWSE on Solaris,Linux and Windows Platform.

Configuration of Siebel Server and SWSE.

Creation of new Component Groups and new Components on Siebel Server.

Patch Installation on Gateway Server, Siebel Server and SWSE.

Troubleshooting the Siebel Server and debugging issues

Worked as POC for upgrade of 8.1.1.17 Siebel version on LINUX/Windows Change & Configuration Management and Deployment/Build Tools

Maintenance of “Data Transfer Tool” [DTT] which is a custom Siebel Application developed by BT to automate the deployment of metadata [LOVs, PDQs, Lookup Data, etc.] onto Test and Production environments. It is used in combination with “Data Transfer Import” [DTI] which is a deployment tool used to export XMLs from DTT Database and import these on target [Test/Production] environments.

Creating Siebel release build packages and rolled-ups for deployment onto further environments using automated Build Tool – RAT [Repository Admin Tool]. RAT is used to automate the processes of SRF Compilation, Repository Export and Import, checking in DTT xmls into VSS, generating the VSS extract and sending emails to all stake holders once the build package is available for deployment.

Worked on Macros for Comparing DTT datasets between Dev and production environments.

Siebel Oracle DBA

Worked with DBA to build and create a new Siebel database and maintain it.

Refresh activity of a new database with old by taking cold backup.

Well versed with Siebel database roles.

Worked on Local Database extraction for developers and applying changes to the table, compiling objects, workflow across Environment and maintaining the version control.
