SUMMARY:

CNC Skills: Experienced over 12+ yrs. of produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) mill machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, Materials, Engineering specifications, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

Edit Programs by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches, calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.

Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces, adhering to international standards.

Perform quality check and first off inspection on machined part to verify drawing specification.

Maintain specifications by observing CNC operations. Taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls.

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions and continuing needs. Conduct daily huddles meeting for day to day issues on floor. Attend Production and Continuous Improvement meetings with engineer and management.

Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Hands on Experience of MAZAK 3, 4 and 5 AXIS (H/V), Mori Seiki, TAKUMI, OKK, AND FADAL Machines. Setup and schedule Mazak Flexible Manufacturing System.

Hands on Experience of Mazak(Fusion, Nexus and Matrix), Fanuc, Mitsubishi and Fadal Controls.

Working in Control Goods Program.

Working experience of Aluminium, Copper, Steel and Ductile Iron metals.

Trained all new CNC Operator on safe and efficient handling of machine.

Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Advanced computer skills.

Certified Forklift/Overhead crane Operator.
