PROFILE
I'm a passionate software engineer looking to make strides in the tech world in order to help the world become a better place. I firmly believe that reliance on tech will increase in the future and has so much untapped potential for humans to harness.
EDUCATION
Bachelors in Computer Science, Portland
State University
Portland
Sep 2016 — Jun 2020
INTERNSHIPS
Software Engineer Intern, Intel Corporation Beaverton Mar 2020 — Nov 2020
At Intel I was responsible for developing cutting edge Dev-Ops tools for other fellow software engineers and reduce engineering cycle time using Jenkins for CI/CD, Jira, GIt/Github, Gitlab, Python, C++, and C. Helping other people is my passion and I was able to help out other engineers and make their work easier through the development of said tools.
Another project was to collect data via a data mining python program which queried the servers for tens of thousands of data points and compiled them into an easy to digest excel sheet.
Successes included deploying v1.0 and v1.1 releases of Dev-Ops tools across the company which reduced engineer cycle time by a measurable factor of at least two.
Software Engineer Intern, Biamp Beaverton
Mar 2019 — Sep 2019
I was accountable for developing software in Python writing scripting programs to speed up the firmware build process for Biamp's product's firmware. The goal was to speed up as much as possible without introducing security flaws or any new bugs. I worked closely with the Firmware Dev team and a manager to deliver the end product. I joined Biamp in a period where the company was expanding and faced technical challenges with the engineering development process cycle time.
Successes included presenting insightful data on a firmware speed-up solution which would reduce the build time by over 50%. This helps the company cut costs as it lowers engineering cycle development time and results in faster, more efficient software development in the long run for years to come.
