Project Description: Oracle Hyperion Workforce Planning is a special-purpose planning module that makes headcount, salary, and compensation planning fast and efficient across the enterprise.

I am engaged in the Development of Planning Module Workforce business process on cloud. Designed with pre-built functionality and best practices that are ready to use right out of the box, it simplifies the planning of workforce and workforce related expenses, such as compensation including bonuses, fringe benefits, overtime and merit increases.

Served as the main Point of Contact in the Development team for the following teams - Testing/QE, Documentation, Curriculum Development, Pre-Sales, Consultants, Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Discussed the complete solution with functional stakeholders.

Designed multi cube solution including two BSO cubes and an ASO cube for reporting.

Served as the main Point of Contact in the Development team for the following teams - Testing/QE, Documentation, Curriculum Development, Pre-Sales, Consultants, Product Management.

Infosys Technologies Limited: From Aug’09 to Jul’12

Project 01: KPLAN – from Apr’11 till Jul’12

Project Description: KPLAN project is an Implementation of a new Essbase application for Sales planning.

KPLAN is a warehouse trade planning tool which enables business planners to plan the products to be maintained in the warehouse in an efficient and controlled manner. Planners analyze the historical actual data and arrive at the numbers for the next fiscal year. Once planned, Planners submit the data to central repository in the form of Essbase cube. This data is processed into Essbase as per Business requirements and then reported to the management to make decisions.

My Role: Hyperion Essbase Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Worked on the Development of a new Essbase application that involved creating hierarchy and developing all the required Essbase objects. It is a Sales planning application and involved the development of complex logic for calculations.

My role involved requirement gathering, providing analysis and design approaches, extensive interaction with the customer. The work required lot of onsite-offshore-client coordination.

Development activities involved-

oCreating load rules for Building Dimensions

oCreating data load rules, generating and testing the data/structural load files

oScripting allocation logics and aggregation calculation scripts

Project 02: Essbase Production Support and Enhancement – from Feb’10 - Apr’11

Project Description: Kraft ESSBASE is a Production Support and Enhancement project for Kraft’s Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting applications.

The Project involves supporting the Kraft Essbase applications which includes resolving complex technical issues, Enhancements of the existing applications which helps Kraft to maintain the integrity of the data. As the Essbase is used to maintain the Profit and Loss data, it is very critical to make sure that the application is running as desired at all time.

My Role: Hyperion Essbase Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Worked on the Maintenance and Enhancement of Hyperion Essbase applications. My role in the project demanded resolution of Production issues and Change requests related to financial planning, consolidation, allocation and reporting.

Analysis, Debugging, Testing and Solutions of the Change Requests/Enhancements received from the client and users.

Worked on Data Load, Data Calculation and Data reporting.

Worked on the Enhancement of Partitioning applications that involved working on Replicated Partitioning.

Security Management.

Intensive interaction with the users.

Being the single point of contact at Offshore for a year, provided flawless and on-time support to the project.

Trained new resource on Essbase and Kraft Essbase applications.
