The project consisted of implementing Office 365 on local servers and migrating Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2016. The whole project involved multiple data centers. I worked in the Houston branch of GRC to ensure an efficient move with verified quality in the Houston servers. Implemented a phased migration from Microsoft Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2016 on prem with new implementation of Office 365 application servers on Windows 2012R2.
Analyzed on premise Exchange metrics and used the Exchange calculator to plan for the Exchange migration.
Installed Windows server 2012R2 and ran prerequisites to prepare for Exchange installations.
Utilized Microsoft Hyper-V for server virtualization.
Responsible for the installation of Windows 2012R2 Servers, configuration, and introduction of servers into the network.
Worked with networking teams to ensure proper routing, authentication, communication.
Implemented Exchange 2016 servers in a virtualized environment using VMWare.
Created DAGs for the new Exchange environment.

Capacity planning utilizing the Exchange best practices and Exchange Calculator.

Hagerty Insurance Agency, styled just Hagerty, is an insurance company specializing in classic car insurance based in Traverse City, Michigan, in the United States. The company is the leading insurance agency for collector vehicles in the world and host to the largest network of collector car owners.
The company wanted to move to the cloud to reduce costs and for cloud benefits. Since this is a mid-sized professional firm with right around 500 users, I planned a cutover migration from Exchange 2013 on prem to Microsoft Office 365, executing the migration in phases of mailboxes, files, settings, since, as an insurance agency, required to maintain documentation of all communications, operations and appointments for years, there was a lot of content to move.
Implemented a cutover migration from Microsoft Exchange 2013 to Exchange Online/Office 365, configuring Skype-for-Business for unified communications (UC).
Worked with stakeholders to understand business needs, and made recommendation for office 365 with Skype-for-Business.
