TOPIC: HIGHWAY DESIGN FOR STORM WATER MANAGEMENT

The poor drainage surface runoff due to rainfall in the pavement affects speed,visibility,comfortability of pedestrians and cause skidding of the vehicle. To overcome this problem effective design of pavement,intallation of artifical ground water recharge system in the pavement is required . This design will strengethen the pavement and improve ground water table also.
