PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

● Dousay Custom Homes Inc. December 2018 - January 2021 This Builder firm was founded in 1994 and through the years has become one of the most recognized custom homes builders in Central of Louisiana. DCH has the privilege to be part of the “Southern Living” magazine where only a few builders from Louisiana are included.

My role in this firm as a Project Manager Assistant was to keep up with different levels of construction from the foundation to the final inspection. As a daily duties was: order materials, revise shop drawings, daily reports, revise Change orders and allowances reconciliations, schedules, As built drawings and sketch for interior elevations, etc.but the most important to coordinate with electrical, plumbing, Mechanical subcontractors to be sure all the tasks followed the design. At the end of the projects, made a owner’s manual book and warranties to follow up. Programs that I used to perform all this was Cad 2D, Microsoft Office and Project. Standard office equipment (copy, scan).

● Pan American Engineering. LLC. February 2016 - November 2018 This Engineering firm was founded in 1942; throughout that time period, they have provided services for numerous towns, cities and parishes across Louisiana. As part of the design-drafter team my duties were to assist several engineers in different Projects

(Water lines, Street Improvements, Re-roofing Existing buildings, Gas Station, Convenience Stores,etc.) Using Revit and 2D Autocad .

● Independent Contractor for PMDesign Group. August 2015 - December 2015 Site Survey: As-built & Existing condition 2D Drawing using AutoCad 2015. As a Site surveyor I had to travel to different cities within southern and eastern states. i took accurate and detailed measurements of existing retail commercial buildings to determine site plans, floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, kitchen equipment layout, furniture plans (Cafe/Patio) etc. The final drawing was sent to the design team for their evaluation.

● Yeager Watson & Associates, Inc. (YWA) June 2008 – July 2015 – Architectural Firm

YWA is an architectural firm that was founded over 100 years ago. It’s reputation is based on public school design but also multiple medical, governmental, commercial and private projects. YWA designs and manages projects. As an Intern my duties were: Re-Create CAD drawings from original blueprints; prepare a constructive set of blueprints: floor plans, roof plans, elevations, sections and details. Compare structural drawings in CAD version to match architectural drawings dimensions. Revise shop drawings

submitted to the office from different General Contractors and Subcontractors within several projects. Prepared color board samples per project when owner requested. As an intern architect, I helped with any requests for drawing corrections, preparing detail drawings, converting drawings from CAD version to PDF, etc., from the senior architects.

● ADAAG Consulting Services, LLC. January 2008 – May 2008 Revised blueprints from different projects : Residential & commercial retail spaces from different states that needed to be under ADA accessibility regulations; approved projects that complied with the federal codes; prepared drafting solutions for several projects using CAD program.

● N K DRAFT & DESIGN June 2005 – December 2007

Principal: Provided approved plans from different cities to General Contractors within the State of California; Provided drafting and designing services for commercial restaurants within the requirements of the Health Department in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Activities performed:

1. Completed site surveys and building surveys for residential, commercial and all structures within construction line.

2. Designed renovations, remodeling and additions to existing and new dwelling 3. Designed renovations, remodeling and additions to existing and new restaurants 4. Prepared all of the construction documents to complete the plans and specifications according to California Building Code Type V (LARUCP) 5. Processed plans and obtained permits at different cities/municipalities within California.

● HILLSIDE ENGINEERING, Encino, CA March 2005-June 2005 AutoCad drafter: Structural plans for Residential and Commercial Development following the engineer sketch.

● MONTAJES INDUSTRIALES CHAVEZ, San Salvador June 1996–November 2003 Responsibilities included:

1. Designed, drafted and built models for new residential projects, 2. Point of contact with the client,

● INDUMETSA, El Salvador August 1995–May 2003 General Supervisor. Perform construction management of three commercial facilities housing a nationwide Supermarket chain; managed the interior decoration of walls, columns and ceiling details.
